We’ve proclaiming the Gospel for years in our city. Now, He’s calling us to plant a church that continues that mission.
Our city is filled with people who, like Jesus described, are “like sheep without a shepherd” (Matthew 9:36). We exist to proclaim the good news of Jesus, who came seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). With limited Gospel-preaching churches (2 Timothy 4:2) relative to the population, there simply aren’t enough seats or voices to reach our city (Romans 10:14-15).
At Our City Church, every sermon is shaped by the substance, structure, and spirit of Scripture, letting God’s Word speak (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). Every message points clearly to Christ with a Gospel invitation, following the pattern of New Testament preaching.
We aren’t here by accident. God has made it clear: He is building His church in our city (Matthew 16:18), and we’re joyfully joining Him in that work (1 Corinthians 3:6-9).
Jesus commanded us to “go... and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Our mission is to embody the New Testament church, train up disciples, raise leaders, and plant more churches.
